Adult learning and facilitator readiness
Workforce Development Learning & Facilitation Package for White Hall Arts Academy
White Hall Arts Academy, an arts education organization providing workforce-development, had substantive program content and an existing workbook, but the materials were not yet organized as a complete learning and facilitation system. The organization needed connected tools that would support both the participant experience and consistent delivery by facilitators.
Approach
EBS approached the engagement as a full learning-system build rather than a set of recommended revisions. Adult-learning and instructional-design principles were used to strengthen the sequence, clarify guidance, create applied practice, and align what learners and facilitators would use.
The work preserved the organization's program purpose and source content while making that expertise easier to navigate and deliver. The goal was to create a coherent package in which the learner guide, facilitator guidance, activities, and slides reinforced the same outcomes and progression.
How we worked with the team
We began by reviewing the workbook and source content to identify the intended learning, existing strengths, and places where participants or facilitators needed clearer structure. The content was then mapped into a more intentional learning sequence.
EBS developed learner guidance, activities, and opportunities for applied practice within a comprehensive learner guide and workbook. The materials were designed to help participants understand not only the content but also how to work with and apply it.
A dedicated facilitator guide was built alongside the learner materials. It provided preparation and delivery support so facilitators could understand the purpose, sequence, and use of each part of the experience.
The branded slide deck was developed to match the same learning architecture. Aligning all three tools created one delivery package instead of leaving written content, facilitation guidance, and visual presentation in separate formats.
Results
The organization received a completed package that included a comprehensive learner guide and workbook, a facilitator guide, and a branded slide deck. The materials shared an aligned learning sequence, language, activities, and delivery structure.
Learners gained clearer guidance and opportunities for applied practice, while facilitators gained a dedicated tool for preparation and delivery. The organization no longer had to rely on the original workbook to carry both the participant and facilitator experience by itself.
The integrated package created a stronger foundation for consistent facilitation and future refinement. As the program is delivered, the organization can update connected materials within one established learning architecture rather than rebuilding each component separately.
