6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Website may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to support Website functionality, understand visitor behavior, and improve our digital services.
We use Google Analytics for Website analytics and performance measurement. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about Website visits and interactions.
Meta advertising measurement: We use Meta Pixel to report page visits to Meta Platforms for advertising measurement and ad optimization. Meta may receive page URLs without query strings, browser/device information, IP addresses, and cookie identifiers. This installation does not intentionally send form answers, assessment responses, names, emails, or customer lists and does not enable automatic form-data matching. Page-visit measurement does not establish that an inquiry was sent or an assessment completed.
Where consent is required, we block Meta tracking until you accept advertising tracking. If your region cannot be determined, we request consent before loading Meta. Elsewhere it may operate unless you reject it. Use Cookie settings in the Website footer to accept or reject advertising tracking later. Your choice applies immediately, including across open tabs. We store a browser-specific choice record, timestamp, region, notice version/text and prior acceptance evidence when you withdraw; clearing browser storage removes that local record. Advertising choices are separate from existing Google Analytics tracking. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for Meta advertising tracking. Meta processes received information under its Privacy Policy and Business Tools Terms.
These technologies may include:
Essential Cookies: Technologies necessary for Website operation, security, and functionality.
Analytics Cookies: Technologies that help us understand Website traffic, visitor interactions, and performance.
We do not currently use cookies or tracking technologies for the purpose of selling your personal information or providing your contact information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
You may be able to manage certain cookies through your browser settings or any cookie preference tools made available on our Website.
You may also be able to limit Google Analytics data collection by using browser settings, available privacy controls, or Google’s browser add-on, where applicable.
Disabling certain technologies may affect Website functionality.
Browser Privacy Signals: Meta advertising tracking honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. This does not represent that all other Website services honor those signals. Meta data sharing may support advertising optimization; visitors can reject it through Cookie settings.
7. How We Share Information
EBS may disclose personal information to third parties when reasonably necessary to operate our business, provide requested services, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
These third parties may include:
- Website hosting and technology providers
- Email marketing and communications platforms
- Customer relationship management providers
- Appointment scheduling services
- Payment processors
- Google Analytics and other website performance providers
- Meta Platforms for permitted advertising measurement and optimization
- Contractors and professional service providers
- Legal, accounting, and other professional advisers
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, investigate suspected misconduct, or maintain the security of our services.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of business assets, relevant information may be disclosed or transferred subject to applicable legal requirements.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your contact information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes except as permitted by applicable agreements and law.
8. Client and Organizational Information
As part of our consulting and capacity-building services, EBS may receive organizational information, internal documents, employee-related information, operational records, or other materials provided by clients.
Such information may be governed by separate consulting agreements, confidentiality provisions, data-processing agreements, or other contractual obligations.
We use client-provided information to perform authorized services and related administrative activities.
Access to client information is limited to individuals and service providers who have an appropriate business need, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Where a separate agreement establishes additional confidentiality or data protection requirements, those provisions will govern to the extent applicable.
9. Artificial Intelligence and Technology-Assisted Services
EBS may use artificial intelligence, automation, and other technology-assisted tools to support internal business operations and the delivery of professional services.
EBS does not use personal information, client confidential information, or Website visitor information to train artificial intelligence models.
Potential uses of technology-assisted tools may include drafting materials, analyzing organizational processes, developing training resources, organizing information, and improving administrative workflows.
When using these technologies, EBS seeks to apply appropriate safeguards consistent with the nature and sensitivity of the information involved.
Client confidential information and personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable contractual commitments, legal obligations, and EBS’s information-handling practices.
10. Data Security
EBS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.
Safeguards may include access controls, password protections, secure technology platforms, and restrictions on information access.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
While we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe information you provided to EBS has been compromised, please contact us using the information provided below.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining business records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, contractual requirements, and applicable law.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable retention obligations.
EBS generally retains information according to the following criteria:
- Marketing contacts and newsletter subscription records: until the individual unsubscribes or the information is no longer reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes.
- Website inquiries and contact-form submissions: for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, maintain business records, and follow up on related services.
- Assessment and quiz responses: for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested results, improve related resources, and maintain associated business records.
- Client records and project materials: for the duration of the applicable client relationship and for any additional period required by contract, law, insurance, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business needs.
- Billing and financial records: for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.
These periods are general guidelines rather than fixed guarantees. EBS may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect legal rights, or maintain business records.
12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information.
These may include the right to:
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of certain personal information.
- Request information about how your personal information is collected, used, or disclosed.
- Opt out of certain marketing communications.
- Opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information where required by law.
- Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.
Certain requests may be subject to legal exceptions, identity verification, or other requirements.
To submit a privacy-related request, contact:
Email: info@equitablebreakthrough.com
Subject: Privacy Request
Please provide sufficient information for us to understand and evaluate your request.
We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
13. California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), does not currently apply to EBS. EBS does not meet the CCPA’s applicable revenue, personal-information volume, or revenue-from-sale-or-sharing thresholds, and EBS is not a business that is controlled by, controls, or shares common branding with a CCPA-covered business.
EBS nevertheless provides the following information to California residents regarding the categories of personal information EBS collects and its privacy practices. This disclosure does not expand EBS’s obligations beyond those required by applicable law.
Categories of Personal Information Collected
During the preceding 12 months, EBS may have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers, such as name, email address, telephone number, postal address, online identifiers, and IP address.
- Professional or employment-related information, such as job title, organization name, business contact information, and professional interests.
- Commercial information, such as records of services requested, consultations, assessments, and transactions.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing history, pages viewed, interactions with the Website, browser type, device information, and information collected through Google Analytics.
- Inferences drawn from the information above, such as professional interests or organizational needs reflected in assessment responses or Website interactions.
- Sensitive personal information, only if voluntarily provided by an individual, such as account credentials or precise geolocation information, where collected and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
EBS does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through general Website forms and does not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit under the CCPA.
Sources and Business Purposes
EBS collects personal information from:
- Individuals who provide information directly to EBS.
- Automatic collection through the Website, cookies, and Google Analytics.
- Publicly available sources, professional networking platforms, business directories, referrals, event registrations, and third-party business information providers.
- Service providers that support EBS’s business operations.
EBS uses these categories of personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 3, including providing services, responding to inquiries, administering assessments, communicating with individuals, processing transactions, maintaining security, improving the Website, and complying with legal obligations.
Disclosures and Sale or Sharing
EBS may disclose the categories of personal information listed above to the categories of recipients identified in Section 7, including Website hosting and technology providers, email and communications platforms, customer relationship management providers, appointment scheduling services, payment processors, Google Analytics and other Website performance providers, contractors, professional advisers, and governmental authorities when legally required.
EBS does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Permitted Meta Pixel data sharing supports advertising measurement and optimization and may constitute sharing under applicable privacy laws. You can opt out through Cookie settings or a supported browser privacy signal. EBS does not intentionally provide form contact information to Meta through this installation.
California Privacy Rights
Because EBS is not subject to the CCPA, the CCPA’s consumer request rights and statutory response procedures do not apply to EBS. California residents may nevertheless contact EBS to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and EBS will consider and respond to those requests in accordance with applicable law and its information practices.
California residents may submit a request by:
- Emailing info@equitablebreakthrough.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request”; or
- Mailing a written request to: Equitable Breakthrough Solutions, LLC, PO Box 6974, Lancaster, CA 93539.
A request should identify the requester, describe the request, and provide sufficient information for EBS to locate the relevant records. EBS may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the requester’s identity and authority to make the request. EBS will not require a requester to create an account to submit a request.
EBS will acknowledge receipt of a request within 10 business days. EBS will respond to a verified request within 45 calendar days after receipt. If additional time is reasonably necessary, EBS may extend the response period by up to 45 additional calendar days and will notify the requester of the extension and the reason for it within the initial response period.
If EBS cannot verify the requester’s identity or authority, EBS may deny the request and will explain the reason for the denial to the extent permitted by law. EBS may also decline to provide information that EBS is not required to disclose or that is subject to a legal exception, contractual restriction, privilege, or other applicable limitation.
EBS will not discriminate against an individual for submitting a privacy request. EBS will not charge a fee for a privacy request unless permitted by applicable law.
These procedures are provided as a voluntary privacy practice because the CCPA does not currently apply to EBS. If EBS becomes subject to the CCPA, EBS will update this section and its privacy practices as required by law.
14. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Website may contain links to third-party websites, professional platforms, scheduling services, payment systems, Google services, or other external resources.
These third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms of use.
EBS is not responsible for the privacy practices, security measures, or content of independently operated third-party websites.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of external websites before providing personal information.
15. Children’s Privacy
Our Website and professional services are intended for adults and organizational representatives.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 through our Website.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally required parental authorization, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information or otherwise comply with applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through our Website, please contact us.
16. International Visitors
EBS operates in the United States.
If you access our Website from outside the United States, information you provide may be processed or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Privacy and data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your location.
Where applicable, we will comply with legal requirements governing international transfers of personal information.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, information practices, technology, or applicable legal requirements.
When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this policy.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before implementing material changes.
We encourage visitors to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
