EBS designs professional learning around the conditions educators return to after the session ends: curriculum expectations, leadership support, team routines, role clarity, implementation barriers, student evidence, and the systems already in place.

Depending on the engagement, support may include professional learning, coaching, PLC facilitation, demonstration lessons, leadership support, progress monitoring, implementation tools, train-the-trainer development, and evaluation.

Design professional learning around what educators need to understand, apply, practice, and sustain through workshops, multi-session learning, facilitator guides, asynchronous learning, implementation tools, coaching, and train-the-trainer development.

Strategic Improvement & Program Evaluation

Help district and school leaders move from identified needs to clear priorities, implementation plans, measures, review routines, stakeholder engagement, program evaluation, and continuous improvement.

How EBS works with education partners

Tanitra Scorza

Founder, Equitable Breakthrough Solutions

Tanitra Scorza is the founder of Equitable Breakthrough Solutions and brings experience as an educator, instructional designer, facilitator, organizational development consultant, and implementation partner. Her role in education engagements is often the connective one: helping districts translate priorities and subject-matter expertise into professional learning pathways, coaching structures, planning routines, stakeholder feedback processes, documentation, and progress-monitoring systems.

Taiesha Fowler

Literacy, Writing, MTSS & English Learner Instruction

Taiesha Fowler brings more than 20 years of education experience across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Her work includes structured literacy, Science of Reading, writing instruction, reading across the curriculum, literacy intervention, English Learner support, teacher coaching, PLC facilitation, and data-informed instruction. She has served as a UCLA Writing Project Teacher Consultant and Advisory Board Member, mentor teacher and peer coach, elementary literacy interventionist, instructional coach, ELA A-G adviser, and National Board Candidate Support Provider Coordinator.

Bootsie Battle-Holt

Mathematics Instruction, Curriculum Implementation & Instructional Coaching

Bootsie Battle-Holt is a National Board Certified mathematics educator, former LAUSD and Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year, and former LAUSD Secondary Math Coordinator for Region West. Her work spans PK-12 mathematics, district instructional leadership, curriculum implementation, teacher coaching, professional learning, and equity-focused mathematics instruction.

Dr. Deonna Smith

Leadership Development, Teacher Professional Learning & School Culture

Dr. Deonna Smith brings experience across classroom teaching, school leadership, teacher preparation, curriculum design, professional learning, strategic planning, and leadership coaching. Her work supports culturally responsive instruction, SEL-aligned classroom culture, student engagement and belonging, instructional leadership, observation and feedback, walkthrough calibration, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, school climate, principal coaching, and strategic implementation.
